Employment Placement Service - Waikato

Our Waikato service based out of Hamilton will directly address client's needs by giving skills to deal with identifying and marketing themselves.  It will assist to identify and plan for wider job choices.  It will link them to the labour market through a brokerage model and support them in maintaining full time employment once it has been achieved.

This service is open to clients 3 Client Groups groups:
  1. Clients in receipt of the Unemployment Benefit
  2. Clients in receipt of the Domestic Purposes Benefit
  3. Clients in receipt of the Sickness
The service content is a package which include, but is not limited to the following:
  • A recruitment process with designated Work and Income offices
  • An Assessment to determine the client's eligibility and suitability for the service
  • Comprehensive CV and covering letters
  • Advice and assistance with budgeting
  • Career Guidance and mentoring
  • Advice and training for interview skills and techniques
  • Job search techniques and understanding job suitability
  • Arranging and assisting Clients to achieve interviews for employment
  • Assisting interviews with potential employers where appropriate
  • Arranging employment positions
  • Advice and assistance with travel
  • Post Placement Support for a minimum of 6 months.
