What Makes Inwork Different?
Our purpose is to reduce the incidents of staff appointments terminating prematurely, improving retention.
Reduction of the high direct cost to employers normally associated with unsuccessful staff appointments.
As an impartial 3rd party, Inwork can assist to raise sensitive issues, resulting in a more positive and productive relationship between employer and employee.
The In-Work programme allows for new employees to adjust into your environment, culture, norms, methodologies and practises. The smoother the phase for the new employee, the larger the likelihood of a long-term placement.
Staff Recruitment & In-Work Support
Inwork is a registered company, contracted to the Ministry of Social Development - Work and Income. Our team members have backgrounds ranging from recruitment, HR, training and Work & Income. We have developed a programme designed to effectively pre-select, recruit and support both employers and new employees through the first 6 months of job placement.
We are funded through the Ministry of Social Development and so can offer staff recruitment solutions at no cost to employers. Inwork programmes do not compromise any HR advice your organisation may have in place. Inwork provides a specialist placement and support function specifically developed to assist new employees returning to work.
Inwork Support
Inwork is available to assist with issues effecting the employment relationship. These include but are not restricted to:
- Employees ability to access or remaining at work
- Ensuring that new employees understand their Employment Agreements, performance expectations & job descriptions.
- Assisting to avert any problems with grievance, or issues at work
- Being available to assist with unforeseen issues, worries or concerns that may effect the employment relationship
- Liaison with IRD, Housing NZ, Work and Income, other Agencies that may impact upon the employee’s personal situation that may negatively effect the work place.
0800 008 854 is our 1st level support open to both the employer and employee (8:00am–8:00pm - 7 days/week). We will liaise and work to address issues as they arise for the benefit of all parties.
